Winbond Injects Capital to Winbond Israel Ltd.

(Taipei News) June 14th, 2006 Winbond today announced that the Board of Directors has passed a capital injection of USD 30 million for WEC Investment Holding Ltd. (WIH). The purpose of the capital injection is to finance the general working capital of Winbond Israel Ltd.
After acquiring the Advanced PC (APC) Division of National Semiconductor in April of last year, Winbond Israel was founded. Winbond Israel has substantial contribution to the company operation.
