Winbond IO Solution
Winbond Electronics Corp. is pleased to announce the new generation I/O —W83627EHF which can adapt to all platforms consisting of Intel, AMD and others. The new I/O provides not only legacy I/O functions but also several new features, such as over-temperature and over-voltage protection for CPU to avoid the danger of CPU burning out. By improving the functions of hardware monitor, all Winbond’s new generation I/Os implement DC Fan control and SMART FANTM 3 for users to easily control fan speed, simultaneously extend fan’s life time and reduce fan’s noise when PC is working. Besides, W83627EHF supports VRD 10.0 and Prescott CPU fan specification.
Winbond KBC/EC Solution
Winbond launches its new LPC interface KBC(Keyboard Controller/Embedded controller) named W83L951D for mobile system applications. W83L951D based on turbo 8052 micro-processor core, speed up to 24MHz, with 256 bytes RAM, 2KB SDAM, and internal 64KB embedded flash. W83L951D provides SMBus, PS/2® interface, pulse width modulation (PWM), digital-to-analog converters (DAC) and analog-to-digital converters (ADC) for battery charging, RTC and internal keyboard matrix scanning with 8*16, 8*18, and 8*20.
Winbond H/W Monitoring IC Solution
As a leading supplier of Hardware Monitoring IC solutions, Winbond announces a new hardware monitoring IC —W83792D, aiming at server and high-end computer application. This chip supports dual CPU VID monitoring with high accuracy.
