(Taipei News) Winbond Electronics Corporation, a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced revenue results for the month of July 2004. Revenue for the month was approximately NT 2.664 billion, a decrease of 10.11 percent when compared with NT 2.964 billion the previous month.
In terms of Memory Products, as the customers adjust the inventory to a desirable level causing the decrease of demands, the Memory revenue was down. Logic Products upheld steady revenue due to the Consumer Electronics Products and PC peripherals have a stable market demand.
Looking forward to the third quarter, as PC shipments enter a traditional peak season, the market demands are expected to grow. The future outlook of Motherboard related products stays positive. In the third quarter, after the Memory products adjust the inventory along with the growing demand of the digital home appliances, the third season is expected to be optimistic.
