(Taipei News) Winbond Electronics Corporation today announced the revenue results for the month of December, 2007. Revenue for the month was NT$ 1.911 billion, a decrease of approximately 18.24 percent when compared with NT$ 2.337 billion in the previous month. Accumulated revenue for January to December of 2007 was NT$ 32.104 billion, a decrease of nearly 6.91 percent when compared with NT$ 34.488 billion over the same period in 2006.
In terms of Logic products, the overall logic revenue decreased because the consumer and computer products were in the low season. In terms of the Memory products, the DRAM price is still low, and the market demand hasn’t come back to normal yet. The overall memory revenue decreased.
Looking forward to 2008, the DRAM market is still slow, and the rebound of price is not very conspicuous. The overall revenue of next month is conservative.
