In addition, we also support customers in customizing special production, breaking through the limitations of standard memory specifications, and achieving the true goal of CMS.
SDRAM
Dynamic Random-Access Memory (DRAM) is widely used as main memory in modern computers due to its low cost and high capacity. Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM), an optimized type of DRAM, enhances performance by synchronizing data processing with an external clock signal. SDRAM employs pipelining, allowing new commands to enter even as previous instructions execute, and utilizes multiple memory banks for faster data transfers. SDRAM is ideal for various electronics, including computers, gaming systems, automotive, networking, industrial applications, and portable devices, offering improved processing speed and power efficiency. Winbond provides high-quality SDRAM solutions tailored for commercial and industrial electronic systems, combining superior performance with low-power features.
DDR SDRAM
DDR SDRAM or double-data-rate synchronous dynamic random-access memory is a type of memory used in industrial, networking, computers and consumer electronics. It achieves greater bandwidth than the preceding single-data-rate SDRAM by transferring data on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal.
DDR2 SDRAM
DDR2 SDRAM (double-data-rate synchronous dynamic random access memory generation 2) is a type of memory used in automotive, industrial, computer, consumer electronics and security surveillance. It achieves greater bandwidth than the preceding DDR SDRAM by higher clock rate. In addition, we also offer a special DDR2 specification of ultra-high speed 1333MHz for customers to choose from, to fulfill the CMS concept.
DDR3 SDRAM
Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) SDRAM is a third-generation synchronous memory chip designed for faster data processing and lower power consumption. Compared to DDR2, DDR3 SDRAM offers higher bandwidth, improved memory latency, lower voltage operation (1.35V to 1.5V), and superior power efficiency. DDR3 SDRAM is widely used in automotive, industrial, networking, TV, set-top boxes, printers, and power equipment, due to its stability and performance. Winbond provides high-quality DDR3/3L SDRAM solutions, ranging from 1Gb to 8Gb densities, delivering speeds up to 1600Mbps and optimized for low power, reliable operation in diverse electronic applications.
DDR4 SDRAM
DDR4 SDRAM offers higher bandwidth and low power consumption compared to DDR3 SDRAM. It is ideal for high-end industrial PC/ peripheral device, TV/ STB/ Video device, and enterprise networking peripheral device. Starting from 2024, Winbond is committed to the development of DDR4. Alongside our 4Gb product, we are actively developing higher-density and ultra-high-speed solutions
