(Taipei News) Winbond Electronics Corporation, a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced revenue results for the month of November 2003. Revenue for the month was approximately NT $2.696 billion, a decrease of 6.8 percent when compared with NT $2.893 billion over the previous month.
Revenue for November was down approximately 6.8 percent over the previous month. This was primarily due to a slowdown after the seasonal peak, which led to the slackening in market demand for information technology products. Although the average sales price (ASP) of DRAM products softened in October, the sequential revenue growth of Pseudo SRAM allowed for monthly revenues of November to slightly drop by only 6.8% over last month's revenues. Looking forward to 2004, the Company will continue to enhance its product portfolio and focus additional efforts on developing and marketing its line of niche mobile communications. Winbond continues to focus on making its product lines more flexible while accelerating the rate of introduction for new products.
