(Taipei News) Winbond Electronics Corporation, a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the revenue results for the month of December 2005. Revenue for the month was NT$ 2.329 billion, a decrease of 10.81 percent, when compared to NT$2.612 billion in the previous month.
In terms of Memory Products, the revenue of Pseudo SRAM was flat compared to that of last month. The decline of Specialty DRAM on the supply side caused a decrease on the overall revenue of DRAM Products. In terms of Logic Products, because the revenue of Notebook and Motherboard related I/O ICs slightly dropped and the shipment of LCD Driver ICs decreased, the overall revenue of Logic Products also decreased.
The outlook of the semiconductor industry toward January 2006 remains conservative.
